Error CTR mode needs counter parameter, not IV occurs on the CentOS operating system if the pycrypto package is installed through the system manager from the python2-crypto-2.6.1-15.el7.x86_64.rpm package.

For elimination you need to:

1. Delete directory /usr/lib64/python2.7/site-packages/Crypto/.

2. Install pycrypto package using the package management system pip:

   pip install pycrypto==2.6.1
