«Metadata Definitions» tab

Tab displays metadata:

Metadata list

List contains the following information:
Field name Description
Name Metadata name.
Description Brief description.
Resource types Resource types.
Public Flag indicating whether the metadata is publicly available. It is set when adding.
Protected Flag indicating whether the metadata is protected from deletion. It is set when adding.

Sorting and filtering tools are available for the list of parameters. Fields are sorted in ascending and descending order. It is also possible to sort the objects marked with check mark. Filtration is performed on all fields, incomplete name input is allowed.

Also, the user can view detailed information about metadata.

Following actions are available for metadata:

1 Import namespace. Data import.
2 Update associations Managing namespace and resource type associations.
3 Edit namespace Changing namespace parameters.
4 Delete namespace Deleting namespace.

Import namespace

Note

Data only in the format raw JSON is supported.

Function allows to import namespace to define metadata. It is available on the control panel in the general list. After calling the action in the window that opens, select the source:

Import namespace window

The source of metadata can be either file or direct input. Available additional data options are:

  • Public;
  • Protected.

Complete the procedure with the confirmation button.

Editing the namespace

Function allows to edit the parameters of the selected namespace. It is available in the general list. After calling the action in the window that opens, set the necessary parameters:

Complete the procedure with the button «Save Changes».

Viewing detailed information about metadata

Also, the user can view detailed information about the metadata. Detailed information about the object opens in a separate block on the right side of the page when you click on the metadata name link. This does not close the list of objects and is displayed on the left side of the page. To close block of detailed information use the details_button1 button, to open a block of detailed information use the button details_button2.
