User workplace requirements¶

For Linux¶

Note

Including Russian operating systems: Astra Linux (1.6 SE, 1.7 SE, Orel), ALT Linux (versions 8 and 9), Atlant, AlterOS, RedOS, SintezM; open operating systems: CentOS, Ubuntu, Open Suse, Fedora, as well as a line of commercial RHEL distributions.

For installing and operating RSclient module at the user’s workplace, the components are required:

Python version 3.7 and higher;
pip3 package management system;
Remote access client compatible with the operating system installed in the workplace;
To install the necessary packages, run the commands:

apt-get install swig
```

On server to which the connection will be made using RSclient, RSserver service must be installed and configured, which provides the infrastructure for managing remote workplaces.

For Windows¶

Only 64-bit Windows is supported.

For installing and operating RSclient module at the user’s workplace, the components are required:

Remote access client compatible with the operating system installed in the workplace;
Visual C ++ redistributable Package for Visual Studio 2015.

On server to which the connection will be made using RSclient, RSserver service must be installed and configured, which provides the infrastructure for managing remote workplaces.

Communication bandwidth requirements¶

The requirements for the bandwidth of the communication channel for the operation of the RSclient module are determined by the remote access protocol used.
