CloudManager module updating

Important

First need to do setting up the environment. All commands are executed only from superuser.

Mode superuser:

sudo -i

1. Module updating:

   • from Python packages repository:

     pip3 uninstall cloud-manager
     pip3 install cloud-manager
     

2. Performing initial configuration of the module:

   openstack aos configure -n cloud_manager
   

3. Updating databases:

   openstack aos db migrate -n cloud_manager
   

4. Completing the update procedure, restarting services:

   # Debian:
   systemctl restart aos-cloud-manager-*
   

Note

Perform a rollback in case of unsuccessful update of the module. Procedure is described in the section “Recovery plan”.

Note

If new AccentOS CloudManager module package has appeared in your repository for Astra Linux (Smolensk), do the following:

1. Module updating:

   apt install -y cloud-manager
