CloudManager is a module that extends the functions of the OpenStack platform related to managing the hardware resources of the cloud infrastructure namely compute nodes.

CloudManager allows to make:

• Assigning extended attributes for compute nodes (inventory number, location);
• PXE image management of compute nodes;
• Monitoring the state of compute nodes in real time and start automatic evacuation;
• Creating and management reserve nodes;
• Collecting information about Cinder block storage and managing local shared storage;
• Ability to perform live migration and change type for Cinder volumes;
• Creating availability storages and assigning them to hypervisors.
